FAQ

I Would Like To Enrol My Child In The Nursery, What Happens Next?

We would like you to come and have a look at the nursery and discuss your needs with us. Please arrange a visit to the nursery by booking an appointment. Please be aware that an appointment is necessary for security reasons.

We advise that the parent may stay for 1 hour only to settle your child and be reassured that they will be well cared for. The nursery will text you to keep you informed throughout the day of how they are settling and send email photographs of them playing and enjoying themselves.

COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE AT PRESENT FOR PARENTS ENTERING THE SETTING.

We also accept many forms of Workplace Nursery Vouchers.

What Do I Need To Bring?

We would ask all parents to provide a spare change of clothing for their child, a rain coat and wellingtons.

I the summer time, sun cream and sun hats are required for outside play. Nappies will need to be provided, with your child's name noted on the packet.

How Is The Day Structured?

The nursery has a loosely structured plan, we like to start the morning with the register and circle time where we can talk to the children and they can talk to each other a valuable element to communication and learning before moving onto Free play or Topic work throughout the day.

Which Types Of Meals And Snacks Are Available?

We have our own cook on the premises who provides hot, home cooked meals everyday. We aim to cater for all dietary requirements where possible, particularly for vegetarian diets and food allergies a menu will be given when you enrol. Parents can also bring in a packed lunch this will be kept in a fridge until required.

We understand children benefit from a balanced diet of fresh fruit, vegetables and milk, we are careful to keep low sugar and salt content to a minimum.

The children also have access to fresh fruit, milk and water all day at our snack bar.
